Mr. Caldarelli's practice consists primarily of general business, real estate and employment litigation in both state and federal courts. He has tried and arbitrated numerous matters for a variety of corporate and individual clients.
Prior to joining Mazzarella Caldarelli LLP, Mr. Caldarelli was an associate in the litigation department of Latham & Watkins for six years. He received his Juris Doctor degree from The Boalt Hall School of Law in 1990, and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Caldarelli received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California at Irvine, from which he graduated summa cum laude in 1987. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward J. Schwartz of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Mr. Caldarelli is a past president of the San Diego Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, past chairman of the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the California State Bar and has served as the chairman of the Litigation Section's annual Trial Symposium. Mr. Caldarelli has served on the Board of Governors of the San Diego Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL). He is a Master in the Louis Welsh Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He has lectured on a number of litigation topics for continuing legal education seminars and serves as a faculty member for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA).
