Mr. Wallach's practice focuses on personal injury, financial fraud, real estate fraud, insurance bad faith, alleged white collar crime, partnership disputes, SLAPP litigation, as well as real estate and bankruptcy litigation.
After receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Califonia in 1955 followed by his J.D. from the University of California Boalt in 1958 where he was Class Validictorian, Mr. Wallach was admitted to the California State Bar in 1959. He brings an impress 50 years of experience in the practice of law which includes 221 jury trials, 209 in which he prevailed. In 2006, Mr. Wallach was only one of only a select few to ever receive the honor of being inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame, Litigation Section, State Bar of California. Mr. Wallach is a former Presidential Appointee (appointed by President Ronald Reagan) as a U.S. Representative (Ambassador) to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights as well as Commissioner of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy (USIA). In the course of these responsibilities he traveled as a Diplomat on behalf of the United States to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, France, England, Switzerland, Israel, Jordan, Eqypt and Lebanon on a range of activities involving the fields of human rights, international education and exchange programs and joint academic and commercial ventures. Mr. Wallach has received countless awards and recognition from his peers and his community, some of which include being named as one of the Top Five Most Respected Lawyers in the Bay Area, receiving the Legal Services Award Outstanding Citizen by the American Jewish Congress and serving as the Director and President for the San Francisco Bar Association His practice experience includes among the first, if not the first, civil litigation under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (Lockhead Japanese bribe cases) and the non-sufficient (NSF) bank overdraft cases against 12 of the national California banks. Mr. Wallach is currently serving as the President of the Lawyers Club of San Francisco and is an Advisor to the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the California State Bar. He shares his time between the Bay Area and San Diego representing clients in both State and Federal Courts.
